Robinson R-22

Robinson R-22 is two seat helicopter equipped with one two blade main rotor and tail rotor, one air cooled opposite piston engine, primary metallic structured, mostly used in training and transportation purposes and it is built in USA.

Additionally it finds widely use in agricultural purposes, photographic flights, collecting reindeers in Lapland and livestock in Australia.

It is possible to fly with R-22 during day and night and if accordingly equipped with flight instruments also use in basic instrumental flight training.

R-22 construction began in 1972 by Frank Robinson and its first flight came out in 1975. Since then the R-22 has been one of the mostly sold piston engine helicopter in the world.
